My musical career got its start at 15, playing tenor sax in southern Maryland.  I switched to trombone my freshman year at St. Mary's College of Maryland.  Then at 19, I joined George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic, where I was the trombonist & arranger until retiring in 1996.
